The global Covid-19 outbreak is presenting new and unprecedented challenges for the global community. Stena Glovis and our owners, whom we represent in the market, fully recognize that our trades are a vital part of the global logistics network. As such we are fully committed to continue our operations through this challenging period.
While all trades continue to operate, the impact of reduced volumes as a result of halted production in various markets will have an impact on deployed capacity, as well as frequency and lead times on certain trades. We are closely coordinating with our customers to ensure we, together, can continue to manage business needs through this period of global disruption.
Our first priority remains the health and safety of our customers and business partners, our people on the vessels and in the ports, and our office staff. We continue to stay in close contact with our owners and will follow the guidelines of all relevant authorities.
Stena Glovis Hamburg and Bremen offices have switched to home office operation as of Monday 16th of March. A skeleton staff in rotational teams will be present in the Hamburg office. All Stena Glovis members are available via e-mail and mobile phone and have full access to all our systems. We are maintaining our daily business as usual.
